Passionate About Helping Athletes

Becoming very good at something is no easy task. It's also just as easy to forget to enjoy the journey, and the reason why you even started in the first place! I created Mind Poise with the purpose of helping individuals and teams fearlessly go after their ambition, create a memorable and meaningful journey in the process and learn to thrive in the difficult moments.

Having studied languages with politics at undergraduate level, I was fortunate enough to go onto play cricket professionally for Hampshire CCC. It was here where I learned the value of Sport Psychology and how it can elicit higher performance and better mental health. We had a large support staff which specialised in every aspect of sport performance, yet no one who truly understood how to help players' mental game. Luckily the game and sport in general is now changing, however this experience was the catalyst for changing career and becoming a practitioner in the field.

When not working, I still love to play cricket and do so at Henley Cricket Club in Oxfordshire. I also enjoy running marathons and playing golf, although I am not so good at practising what I preach when it comes to my short game! When sport is put to one side, I love spending time with my family and fiancée, exploring the world, live music and anything cinema.
